Everyone please just stick to posting the amount of money you made on VacationRentals right after someone posts the amount of money they made from taking 10 hours of surveys.

I think I love you birthday twin.

I am stuck in a catch-22 dilemma.

I started Turking just to earn a little extra money while I stayed home with the kids. Now I really enjoy Turking.
I had my Mother-in-law visiting last week and she helped a lot with the kids. I was able to Turk full time and was doing $80-$120 a day.
Now I am home alone with the kids and Turking is so hard with an almost 1 year old who needs almost constant attention.
I am back to my $40- $60 a day.

Should I pay to put my kid in daycare and Turk full time? Would the money even be worth it. Daycare is so expensive. Or should I just be happy with my $40 days?

Nothing loads in the frame for the Self Concept I grabbed.

I think if this is how my week is going to go I should just go find a hole to crawl into.

I don't know about daycare costs there, but I know it would not be worth it here you'd end up paying more in daycare than you'd make in turking.

I think it kind of depends on two things here. First, would you be able to consistently make enough money to pay for daycare AND still make good earnings? If you'd put the kids in daycare and then pay the daycare and end up at $20 left from your $80 day, that's not really going to be worth it because you could make more ($40) with them home. And second (and this is a bigger conversation to have with yourself and your family), is it important for you to be the caregiver for your kids during the day or are you okay with them being away at daycare for however much time you have them there?

Personally, I'd stay home with the kid and make less. Very soon the baby will need less and less attention, and your earnings will go up. (Now that my son is 12 and rarely needs me, I am very much missing the days when he needed me and I was his moon and sun. Now I'm his means for food and shelter, lol!)

Or, you could do part time day care? Just a couple of days a week?
