I've served on two. We took it very seriously. Yes, no one wants to serve initially, but once chosen, the juries I have served on have accepted and taken it seriously and have not been in a rush to judgment. (I did not think you sounded judgy.)

That is awesome to know. I recently just got recused and felt horrible for it. I didn't exactly want to serve, but I know if I had been picked I would have done my best to be fair and careful in my judgement.

That made me laugh. No way would I ever be foreman. I was lucky that everyone I served with were cooperative, while still voicing opinions respectfully.

I am stuck in a catch-22 dilemma.

I started Turking just to earn a little extra money while I stayed home with the kids. Now I really enjoy Turking.
I had my Mother-in-law visiting last week and she helped a lot with the kids. I was able to Turk full time and was doing $80-$120 a day.
Now I am home alone with the kids and Turking is so hard with an almost 1 year old who needs almost constant attention.
I am back to my $40- $60 a day.

Should I pay to put my kid in daycare and Turk full time? Would the money even be worth it. Daycare is so expensive. Or should I just be happy with my $40 days?

I've had this thought but I feel like all of my turking would go toward paying for daycare vs having extra money. I've been applying to "regular" jobs in the meant time. My kiddo is too young for me to turk hardcore.

I think the worst thing for me was that they didn't tell us that they didn't accept debit cards. They did take us all down to the cafeteria and pay for our lunch, but on breaks, we went to the snack bar, and it was awesome. I got what I wanted and went to pay with my debit card, and the cashier shook her head at me. Luckily, the sweet lady behind me had cash and paid for my snack. I made sure I met up with her the next day and bought her snack.

Also, we weren't allowed to smoke. We had to have a deputy escort to take us outside to smoke a cigarette, to prevent us from talking to anyone else. (If I had known about e-cigs then, it might have been easier.)
