I worked at Walmart for 2 years as my first job. As a cashier. Got treated like shit. They see a Peach as a cashier and they think that you don't have any feelings.

The only good thing that happened there was I supposely met the wife's cousin of Gary Kubiak when he was coaching the Texans. And I got a signed football from Andre Johnson when he played for Houston. I have no idea if this was even the real cousin of the wife of the coach or not. All I know is I have an autographed football. Hopefully by Andre Johnson

Unfortunately, people judge other people based on how much money they make. I wish more people were like you, but when a lot of people see someone in a position that pays 7-10 dollars an hour, they treat them like shit.

A lot changed when everything went to shit in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Lots of people who never thought that they would mop a floor or flip a burger were doing just that.

Those who have worked fast food know how much it sucks. Where I worked, we were just off the freeway in Houston...that place was NEVER dead. Didn't get many breaks, sometimes not even full lunch, worked late a lot...most people were not too bad but you always had 1 or 2 dipshits a day who liked to treat min wage workers like they were stupid. On the flip side, one lady was so impressed with my customer service skills that she wrote in to the boss. I got a nice little gift because of her. And that was at the drive thru window...which, if you all have a loud engine, turn it the F off so the people can hear you in those shitty little headsets...and TRY ENUNCIATING!

Yep. Encountered this when I worked in restaurants all the time. Some people just don't get it and don't care. I go out of my way to be kind to all dealing with the general public. Very tough gig.

I have cussed people out in restaurants and retail stores to tell them what POS they are after I overhear them abusing the staff. I cannot see it and not do something to defend the poor employees that are part of the scam of whining to get something for free for no real reason.
