They take me about 30-45 sec, I would say. I have a lot of background in creative writing, but it doesn't take a lot of effort. You could use something very small to write about, like taking your dog for a walk. Just pretend you're telling someone about it. I don't count the words, but it pops up to let you know if you need more. I did the 200 in about 3ish hours with other stuff thrown in.

Thanks that's very helpful, I was hoping it would let you know, didn't want to find out the hard way. I found this to get me thinking, in case i go blank: http://writingexercises.co.uk/children/story-plots-for-children.php There were some awesome ones, but too much detail, this one is about right.
And that's quick! I just know when I'm not actively focused on not doing so, I end up taking so long with things, wanted to have a time in mind...and I can be a speedy but would be very happy with 2x that for now. thank you
