I have had this problem a while, and I know others have and probably are. Sometimes, your scraper will freeze your browser for a couple seconds when it completes a scrape. I circumvented this by running HS on a VM on my second screen that I run 24/7 anyways. My CPU in my desktop blew so I'm only on laptop now, and if you just run it in incognito it doesn't affect the regular browser. Kind of obvious for some, but this has plagued me for months.

Ditto, but it doesnt always do it and keeping a resource monitor open when it happens I see a spike in my CPU usage but nothing that should lock anything up I mean i'm running a nice I5...I just attributed to chrome and it consuming 50% of my ram all day long.

Even better is on a separate browser. For chrome just make a separate profile for it, so all of your settings save.
