Because Amazon giveth and Amazon taketh away. It's just the new normal for AP, I guess. According to some posts on reddit, people emailed Amazon and were told that the delay is intentional.

I was the opposite. I was such a sweetie they all loved me and believed I was such a good girl. Lied my way out of detention more than once. Don't know to this day how they didn't see through me! (not that I was horrid, but I did ditch school at times and came to school drunk way more than once my senior year.)

I was teacher's pet until jr. high...always...at least that's what I thought. The teachers babied me to death and gave me special treats (made the other kids mad). When I was 18 I ran into my 3rd grade teacher and she freaked me out by bursting into tears and telling me that they had all been so afraid I wouldn't survive, and she was just so happy to know I was ok, etc. I didn't know what to say. But in high school I stayed in trouble ALL the time, and I skipped detention a lot with no repercussion... once skipped an entire day of school while AT school That wasn't easy to pull off.
