I play Alliance hunters on Exodar and Tortheldrin (yes, 2 alliance hunters. it's a long story.) and I'm leveling up a mage now. Hand picked from my dusty level 100 alts.

That is strange. I didn't even know they turned people down. Did she try emailing them and asking them why?

This just started a week or two ago - before then, I don't know of them turning down anyone who is legit and eligible. They won't give anymore info - here's what the canned e-mail they're sending everyone says:

"Hello,

We have completed our review of your Amazon Mechanical Turk Worker Account. We regret to inform you that you will not be permitted to work on Mechanical Turk.

Our account review criteria are proprietary and we cannot disclose the reason why an invitation to complete registration has been denied. If our criteria for invitation changes, you may be invited to complete registration in the future.

That's actually why I'm here. I was scrolling through FB earlier this month and I think I saw a sponsored ad or an article and clicked on it.

To my surprise, my account had been active since 2012 with a whopping $0.50 in it. Then it all came back to me ... I found MTurk and thought: what in tarnation is this nonsense?? and left.

My husband laughed at me the other day and teased "Think of the money that you could have had" Glad I'm here now though!

Same here except no money in my account, and for me it was January 2015? I started and got the hang of it in August this year. I also have a full time job. I just like expensive workout clothes, so this basically funds that for the moment.
