always use prepaid cards from walmart or target etc etc.. credit cards are shitty on there for me aswell.

You can get codes like that through amazon digitally, as well. They even do digital codes for certain things, too, if you're weary of buying more credit than you want to spend.

i had to remove *ALL* my payment info and then added a prepaid card like others said. i swore they had a paypal option too, its been a bit since i bought anything

xbox live does not accept prepaid credit cards.

Totally switched to that after that scam a few years back with FIFA players hacking people's accounts so they could rack up microtransaction charges to your CC.

Amazon actually sells Xbox gift card codes that are emailed to you instantly.
Always go that route personally.
