cheaper? no idea but USAA customer service will take a bullet for you if you asked them. I use USAA for everything because of it.

I 100% ADORE USAA.
Amazing, super amazing, as a bank. You can call 24/7 if needed, and they stay on the phone until it's done (happily). I used to have a credit union, and I got so tired of the BS/identity theft/other issues (some CUs are awesome...ours wasn't)

I really liked my car insurance through them too - full coverage for me (no tickets/issues) AND my ex-fiance (lots of tickets, some accidents) was about $60/mth for both cars (in Oregon, me as the primary driver, etc). Right now I pay $50/mth for just me through State Farm.

100000% DO IT. USAA no regrets.

Call around. No it's not cheaper but if you've got a claim you'll be glad you have it. I have my homeowners with them but not my car insurance anymore.
