Maybe they changed it back at some point. I don't use Chrome a lot, so not really sure, but that's definitely how it was for a while and there was no setting to enable.

Do as many of those as you can until it stops you. Every single time you see them.
By play I mean autoplay, by the way. You could still always play things in the background, but pages and scripts couldn't initiate the playing of a file after that change. The files would play once you switched to the tab though.

Yes, indeed. Then all you have to do is return it/them. Make sure you do some from all of the batches, too.
