T-shirt yarn is called tarn, and it's used mainly for rugs and totebags.

There's also something called plarn, which is yarn made from plastic bags and also mainly used for tote bags and rugs.

JenniLeigh @JenniLeigh I did fry them, but I made sure one package lasted a while. I saw a diy recipe online but they probably have more calories than the restaurant or frozen version bc the batter is so thick. Might try making them with a lighter touch at some point. Copycat Checkers Fries Recipe
Yeah, I have two teen boys, and a girl who eats like her brothers...

Thanks, I've made 2 for gifts too. That actually took longer than some bigger projects. Instead of staying with the teddy color, I just switched yarns.
Have you ever tried knitting socks? I have always wanted too, but it looks really complicated.

i thought this said 'and drugs'. that was a weird image.
actually that pretty much applies to most of what ive read here tonight
What's weird? Many of the knitters on that website are in their 20's and 30's, and we have about 6.5 million members worldwide. It's not your grandma's knitting, or crocheting. And there are also plenty of men knitting and crocheting too.

There's not much work here late at night. If you crafters want to show your projects, bring photos tomorrow night. We might even get our own thread.

I have done some crocheting, definitely wasn't referring to that with my dumb comments, was just joking anyway:) And your projects are beautiful! My hand's are not being very cooperative lately, can't feel anything but at the same time everything hurts, makes no sense, but have thought maybe i could do the giant arm knitting stuff, id forgotten all about it actually.
