if I were you...the idea of him.
I always felt horrible trying to figure out what to say to my kids when they'd
start getting older and would ask me if they were real, but I kept it up b/c I thought
was 'supposed' to. I don't know, Santa in general is pretty ridiculous, also used too much
to threaten kids anyway, darn it too much reality while I'm still trying to wake up.

I know this probably has crossed you mind, but just curious, do you get the payment lowered based on income? Or just would rather get it paid? My daughter has a ridiculous payment, like $1000 or $1200 a month, because part was loaned directly from the school on top of government loans. But she makes a ridiculous amount also, so that helps. Then there's the 2,800 month apartment. I just cannot relate to these numbers.

Only around 15% of the total amount I borrowed was from the government (that's all they would give me unfortunately, I would've loved to take more if I could 'cause the interest rates and benefits were way better than the private loans). The income based repayment unfortunately does not take your private loans into consideration, so I would still have to make the full payment because it's already less than 10% of my income.

After I get through Christmas, I think I will start putting 50% of my MTurk earnings towards my student loans ... because by the time I pay them off, I will have paid like $100k in interest if I keep making minimum payments. That is definitely not fun. So I'll try to pay off the highest interest one faster.
