Hey guys! Just found up I really have to step up my MTurk stuff, work didn't approve of me telecommuting (despite being a social media/online marketing position) for the last two weeks of the year when I HAVE to be gone, so I have to take it without pay. No word from HR if I can burn sick time for my absence, but that still would only pay 3 days out of 15 gone.

Soo... what it comes down to is if I want to still buy Christmas presents for anyone left on my list, I need to cough up at least $500 in Turk money by the end of December. (Panic. Absolute panic.)

I agree with this. Rather than stress yourself out over making $500 by the end of the month for gifts, can you reduce the number (or size) of the gifts? Maybe do something handmade (bake cookies!) or another alternative like that. Good luck!
