Are these really that horrible though?

Hourly is not good but I sort of like Research Tasks and do them as filler when there is absolutely nothing else to do.

If you dont' have to monitors then make it ding on new hit and tab over to it when it boops. Grab everything, work on everything and hope you don't lose most of it.

I don't think they're horrible. I've done way worse. They go fairly quickly and are decent numbers batches and fillers.

Weird, I added the requester ID for Research Tasks to my HIT Monitor and nothing is popping even though there are HITs up.

Okay, so... Just curious. Say you use Hit Scraper, and one pops up that you can do, so you click it and get started. Now, during that time, Hit Scraper is still working, obviously, so you might miss stuff while doing your survey.

Do you:
A. just ignored what you can't see,
B. Accept a bunch of surveys over a certain amount of time and then do them all at once while ignoring what you can't see?
C. ???

use two windows (or 2 screens if youre one of those uppity rich turkers)

one window is for hit scraper which takes up 25 percent of the screen. The other window is for working, which takes up 75 percent of the screen.

i want to cry. i've been doing the $3 Face Ratings HIT by CHB for over 2 hours now. i already submitted the HIT with my worker ID because it was about to expire. now i have to finish it but there is seriously no end in sight. do not do this HIT

not sure if these are the same as the 15 cent ones. but the 15 cent ones take me three minutes each. I might make better pay if I open several of them in different tabs... but I hate them so much.

I was gonna say just return it, but if u already submitted with the worker id, then u are married to that hit till death do u part (or when u finish it.)

Also, if you're using firefox, there's an option to load a bookmark on the side (it's in the bookmark properties settings), you could try that.

for the first 30 mins i wasn't working very diligently on it. it had a 1 hour and 30 min timer and the HIT said very clearly that it was 15-45 minutes so i figured i had plenty of time. then i figured i was probably close after i had been working on it for 30 minutes straight but was running out of time so i submitted it. now it's been over 2 hours and i am so mad!
