Yeah, sometimes if they don't connect tightly in general, it's hard. We have one that gave us a little trouble right now, because for whatever reason, it won't plug into the extension cord straight, so it sits in there at an angle. So I just balled electrical tape around it as well as I could.

Edit. Ugh. I have no brain right now.
Last weekend it was out due to rain, so I redid all connections and wrapped tape around ALL of the plugs. I even ditched one strand that was acting up no matter what.

Tonight? Same area is out again. I'm about ready to pay my contractor to switch my plug out to a normal outdoor plug without the damn gfi. Pissing me off. I don't spend 20 hours setting up lights only to have a little moisture stop them from lighting up!

How do you like that? I almost couldn't do lights this year and I was thinking about it. my neighbor has one, but it didn't seem bright enough to me. I'm also worried about theft since I know at least three people who have had them stolen.
I like it! There are a lot of different models/versions out there and some are definitely brighter than others. The front of my house is small (it's a bungalow) so it covers it just fine. If I had a two story house or something, then it definitely wouldn't be bright enough. Fortunately we haven't had any thefts around here. This is the second year I've had it out and so far, so good.

Sometimes I wish I could shrug it off.
Cause the turkers gonna turk, turk, turk, turk, turk
And the requersters gonna reject, reject, reject, reject, reject
Baby, I'm just gonna shrug, shrug, shrug, shrug, shrug
I shrug it off, I shrug it off

I'm definitely going to consider it for next year, then, even if only to enhance whatever else is up. I just live in a small ranch-style:

The lights are sloppy this year because we were really hasty putting them up since they almost didn't happen. But if we did lights, do you think it would work in combination, or would the actual lights drown out the projector lights?

My neighbor has both and the actual lights drown out the projector lights. :/ You could do actual string lights over on the side of the house with the window and door, and have the projector just on the garage!

Ooh, yeah! I didn't even think about that, but I like the idea a lot! :)

That emoji cracks me up, it looks like its concentrating SO hard on writing, trying to do a good job. And the pencil is the size of its entire body, it doesn't make any sense!

I really should get some sleep.
