I have to admit that I have never had one of those. Perhaps I was lucky to be in my late 20s when they became a thing here, from what I've heard. I did used to have my own special version though: mix vodka with a red Amp. I called it a Bloody Vamp. (Because I'm lame like that.)

this came out while I was in college. 3 some dollars for a trip to heaven and then subsequently falling from heaven and landing directly on your head.
This was a struggle when I first moved west as a kid. I'd ask for pop and people would have a confused look on their face.
