The same happened to me last year on either side of Christmas. The only comfort I had was, at least my Grampa wasn't stuck here alone for very long. The rest of my family got mad because they wanted the doctors to keep forcing him back every time he coded. I wanted him to go in peace because I was thinking what life would be like for him if he did get better. He was with my grandma, every day for over 60 years. If he got better and went home to that empty house, I don't know what he would have done.
