Guess I'm turking for car repairs today. Apparently I failed to yield, which I'm certain I did (but I banged the crap out of head and don't remember anything besides stopping at the stop sign). So yay, February can go straight to hell.

Are you okay? Did you have someone check you for concussion?

Yeah. I don't remember anything past stopping at the stop sign. I'm always so damn careful in that intersection because people speed up (and speed, its 35, no one does 35) to prevent people crossing and because it has a blind spot with oncoming cars. I have to go off what folks in the area said I guess. I crossed, nearly made it but was hit while cross which threw my car into another car and then into the ditch. IMO, if you were doing 35, I wouldn't have ended up in a ditch, but with no memory (and being at fault), I can't really argue. My face looks like my husband hit me, so that joke will hang for awhile.

Yes. Medics came. I probably have one. I called my husband (medic, works in the ER), who came and got me. He's keeping an eye on me. I'm going to have a mother of a headache.

it's why they call it a accident, wasn't intentional, vehicle might have been in a temp blindspot and you didn't see it for whatever reason. it sucks and is costly, but your alive is all that matters.
