To be honest, mturk was always setup to be a site for side money and not full income. Although some people are able to pull it off like Kadauchi.

I realize this, but this is the only job I can do. I'm disabled and barely keep up with doing mturk every day for the exhaustion it is, honestly. And that's just sitting at a computer and reading and typing a little. I'm flaky on mturk, no employer will deal with that, basically. No amount of flexibility allows having to randomly call out for a weak because of a health problem multiple times a year.
