If you don't get out there and try shit batches you won't know why a batch is shit... which is the number one reason why people on the forum constantly complain about not having anything to work on. It serves more than that... it teaches you what you are good at, what you are bad at... what you are willing to do for what pay... and how to find your work when no one who has any real experience is around to tell you what to do. Self-employment is a tough business... mentorship helps, initiative drives.
