Trying to work myself out of a rather serious depression. Didn't eat for four days; had something to eat just a bit ago. Am going to try and do a HIT; get back to work. A significant problem: my doctor is 65 miles away and last time I spoke with him, he did me no good.

I'm sorry to hear this and wish you well. Depression is a tough battle.You were one of the first to talk to me here and deserve all the nice things! Wish I could give you a hug and send you cookies and all of that right now.

For arguments sake: I'm all for self-learning and all that jazz ... but I'm just not about the scripting life. It's completely out of my wheelhouse and something I find highly confusing and frustrating. I can appreciate the 'teaching a man to fish' approach and am a major fan & proponent of search/google functions but there also needs to be a bit of reciprocation on the other end for those, like me, who may just not be able to do it.

Everything is confusing when you first start learning it but I truly don't believe that people who are smart enough to turk aren't smart enough to learn how to script at least simple things.

I'm not saying go out and become the next Kad, I'm just saying learning how to mark radio buttons in jscript/query or how to prefill boxes with text is a better way to spend your time than sitting on turk picking away at a batch that might be 3/hour if you're lucky. If I can figure out how to do those things probably literally anyone can.
