Yes. I didn't see those - I am using uBlock Origin for my adblock with everything checked (trying to stop those damn 'sign up for our email' popups ) So it must have seen the link to the Survey as an ad link.

ublock is 100x better, but it does make some hits appear as a blank screen, so if you are mindful of that, it is a huge upgrade from adblock.

I think so, I heard that AdBlock is allowing ads from it's 'partners'

Ublock takes up 1/3 of the space as Adblock so it doesn't eat up so much RAM and runs faster. And as @MrTrentSD said, Adblock allows sites to pay to be added to their whitelist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adblock_Plus#Controversy_over_ad_filtering_and_ad_whitelisting

I use Ublock Origin and can't recall it ever interfering with turking. If anything, just add whatever the site is to your personal whitelist.

You could also try the Brave browser, which I've heard is good. Probably not for turking yet, but for general use it might be worth it.
