TFW (hehe I can use that now) you finally get a response about a disability appeal after a year and a half and are too disabled (and lazy...and no, not saying it's the same thing,and no flaming me) to even begin to think about trying to get it all together or even comprehend what that heck they are talking about.

What a pain! I have heard an attorney is the best way to go with disability issues (if you can afford one).

I'm dealing with a similar situation with my mother who is 80 years old and lives in a retirement home. Every year, I have to reapply for her for medicare/medicaid and provide the previous 3 months of her bank statements. This year, they say she has to pay the retirement home more than she gets in Social Security. Yeah, that makes sense.
