It is true. You don't get a regular 1099-misc and people who pay people through a third party does NOT need to give out a 1099-Misc. Look it up. What you get for 20K is a 1099-K which is specifically for 3rd party payers.

The question is if Mturk and Payments are seperate entities or not.
