this time of year I'm very happy to be living in Texas .. no state filing.

my state is currently looking at getting rid of our state income tax. i think it's an awful move as we are facing a $500 million budget deficit, but hey...it'd be nice. i pay about $55 a paycheck in state income tax from my w2 job.

When we started this forum, I actually made sure to add a lot of different types of smilies and spent a lot of time organizing them, so they could be easily found, because I seriously thought it would cut down on gif spam here. It didn't work.

There's a Guero's in Austin on SoCo but I personally prefer Torchys. Plus.. it's a helluva lot closer to my apt

Used to drive from Houston to Austin when austin was still weird and eat at Guero's. Best, Best, Best. And margharitas to kill for and that guy that took everyone's pic for ten bucks of something.
