lol. Sometimes they come up to me in the mall and ask me to do surveys. I just laugh and ask how much it pays. Haven't done one yet. They all have 1/5 for pay.
That's actually what led me to find mturk in the first place. Said yes one day while broke as hell while living in NC. Ended up walking out of there with $50 for watching a movie preview, drinking some juice, and eating cinnamon rolls, so I kept going back. I guess it depends on the company doing them, as the one here in OKC doesn't pay like that...so I found mturk while looking online and now here we are.
Good mern, all! Hope everyone's doing okay today, in general and with the storms and all last night. (I read about them, but was already in a sleep coma when they hit.) Also hoping those of you who are under the weather get to feeling better soon. Water, water, and more water to flush it out keep congestion thin should help. Also, sleep, as much as you can get. I highly recommend some Tom yum soup if you've got a good Thai place nearby, with at least a 3 or 4/5 spice level. I swear that stuff's magic, and has knocked out my last three zombie flus in a snap. Also, anything with peppers, onions, and garlic....nature's cures, you know.
If you're feeling really daring and done with the yuck, you can try the concoction I created the last time I got really sick that seemed to work within 24hrs and that I now swear by. Clearly voodoo and shit, because I've only been sick once in three years since I made it and dared to drink it.

I don't do flu shots. They had a bad batch here once that made people violently ill. I don't trust them. My neighbor is a nurse though and does all that stuff so I'm sure she did. But I didn't ask.

That's understandable. They are really safe though so I hope you change your mind on them at some point. This year's main strain is really responsive to the vaccine so the effectiveness is quite high.

I won't take them. They have to change every year and I won't do that to my body. Got a notice the other day about the shingles vaccine. Well, that's almost funny since the TV is running commercials regarding that vaccine and suing because it fails.

They do those in Chicago all the time. I've done good ones years ago for different products. I did one to watch the pilot for The Office and they paid over 100 iirc. Only problem is all those places are downtown so it's a trek to get there.

Haha, a demon that'll knock out bronchitis, though! I had tried everything else and was ready for death at that point, so I figured "what the hell" when I made it. I was actually surprised when I woke up the next morning and could breathe again. I've only been sick once since, and remembered to make that on the second day, felt human again on the third day. It's gross, but it works, even if it's a placebo effect sort of thing.
