We just got our power back in Michigan after not having it for 4 1/2 days. It was so cold in the house the hand soap was frozen in the bottle.

I have a business out of my house. I used to get up at 6am to do them and then went back to sleep for 3hrs . I quite liked it.

My issue is slightly different. Mine persists regardless of scripts, browsers, etc. It's just with the Research Tasks HIT's. When I click on "continue work on this HIT," the page loads, but not the HIT content. The error I get, says "The webpage at (Link/workerID redacted) might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." And no matter what I do, it will not load the content.

So, the solution was to copy the link that I redacted, and paste it into a new tab, loading the HIT content in a page outside of MTurk. When I did this, the browser would give me the standard (GET THE F AWAY FROM THIS SKETCH SITE) type stuff, telling me the connection to it was not private, etc. etc. I had to click through several warnings to access the task itself. However, if I completed the task here, it would not submit the HIT. BUT, now that I've loaded it in a separate page, and clicked through the security warnings, it allows the HIT content to load on the actual MTurk HIT page. This only has to be done once, and then I can complete those HITs until my heart is content. But it has happened in the past before.

For those getting warning trying to load unsafe scripts I figured out the cause on my machine and it was having the swagbutton extension installed. Once I disabled it the problem went away so maybe try that

That's the funny part - the freezer had thawed the ice in the ice machine, there was water everywhere and we had to throw all the food out.

GRRRR....I just started a business and all the money I make is extremely needed right now and we had to use the money I had saved to travel north to family's house for the 4 days and pay to take my daughter to Urgent Care because she was running a 103 fever and the rotation of Advil and Tylenol didn't help. Aw well, back to the grind.
