They are even better in concert. If you ever get a chance to see them live, go! They encouraged videos, dancing, clapping, yelling, screaming...and they really played to the audience.

Also, they hung out after to meet fans and treated every person who waited to see them as if they were waiting to greet *just them*. I respected that, even if it was (maybe) a total act.

Love MDI! Never make it up there as much as I would like. I'm living in the Damariscotta area now, but I grew up in Old Town and used to go all the time. Hope the weather there is perfect for you this summer!

MDI truly is a gem. I grew up in Orono, and have mainly lived in the Bangor area, as well as MDI. I did spend quite a bit of time at lake Pemaquid in the summers a few years back...the coast of Maine sure has a lot to offer! Thanks for the well-wishes regarding weather, I hope you get to make it to the island to enjoy it this season

They are SO HOT. My pic with them is in this faces thread. I stammered like a total 15 year old when I asked them for an autograph (for my kid) and they took a pic with us.

I'm old enough to be their mum but, ah, well...I'd rob a cradle for one of them!

It's not an act... they are some cool motherfuckers. I went through the effort of getting a press pass as a photographer to one of their shows just before they were first starting to get attention here in America and hung with them a little while afterward to take more casual non-performace photos. It was a damned good time. With the way they've skyrocketed up that wouldn't be possible anymore.
