Just noticed that everything looked really pink outside. Apparently there's a fire in Osage and Washington counties and the wind has carried the smoke all the way into OKC. The sun is all rosy and bright, with a cool haze everywhere. It's freaking beautiful!

Gonna try to take a pic, even though it will turn out potato quality due to poor vision and a crappy ipod camera.

The best landscape photographers in the world are super active after a lot of various natural disasters. Volcanic eruptions, huge wild fires and the like... they change the quality of light in ways that you can't see in the natural world any other time.
