I have to defend the snow thing a bit - the snowpocalypse a few years ago wasn't really about the snow, it was ice. The snow was sudden and formed about a half inch of pure ice on ALL of the roads very quickly in the middle of the work day. We don't have plows, very few salt trucks, and no one really has tires for that kind of thing, plus Atlanta is a hilly place. It was madness.
Saw her and the guys from Savage Garden begging for change over the weekend.
My bff lived in bartlett heights apartments in the '90s, when it was like a million dollars a month and everything was new around it. Now I drive there and I'm like...meh. Crappy. But with KK on one side and Popeye's on the other,They need to build one in Saddle Creek

I feel you on the ice had a ice storm in 09, i live in the woods so the sound of limbs snapping was both extremely relaxing and terrifying...but you gotta admit it produced some quality memes of the situation.
We are from Michigan, grew up driving in snow/ice etc blah blah blah and that was the worst. Luckily, we know how it gets so my husband worked from home that day and I already had the day off. Neither of us worked in Atlanta, he works in the burbs and I worked in a very NW burb and people were stranded everywhere.
