Maybe my next coloring contest should be a writing contest instead.

Since it doesn't seem very busy lol I have a question. What card/bank do you transfer you mturk money to? I have an account with Simple but since they changed banks, I have had nothing but problems. My money transfers aren't showing up and they don't know why... I sent them copies of the Amazon transfer to them and they still don't know where they are going. Needless to say they are going to be history. I need another card that is reliable to transfer money to. Suggestions please!

Do you get actual wild rice or the americanized version? I used to get manoomin from the ojibwa cause it was really easy on my tummy, but I could never cook it right...it always seemed a little too dry or something unless I cooked it in broth.

Sometimes the real stuff... sometimes the americanized version. It depends largely on what our little asian market gets in stock, and the bulk prices at the time we go shopping.

If you work from home (not sure about your situation) you can buy a house at a small town/country area. As long as the area has internet your cost of living will be cheap. I noticed some of you guys live in big cities where the prices are all jacked up when you don't have to.

Yeah but you have to TRUST those people to not junk everything up and not be really shitty people. There are a bunch of really shit people out in the world. What you could do is get a SO and make them work to pay for everything and all you do is keep the house clean!

I use Ally bank, the only part I don't like is that I can't transfer on Friday and have it show up on Saturday like I did with wells fargo. Everything else has been fantastic though.

Another one I used to use was the greendot cards from walmart. They are pretty good but IIRC they have a maintenance fee. Some have used bluebird but I don't know anything about bluebird.

Have a house in Memphis. Cost of living here is pretty damn cheap...it's awesome.
It's pretty great but not close enough to AT&T Park.

If you're single, try to buy a house and rent the other rooms out. Make your roommates pay for your cost of living. Google house hacking for more details.

Works in a college town, my last two years I lived in a room in a house. Every room was rented out. I always called it the student slums. Of course this is popular, so home where you can rent out space easily cause the value of the house to go up. Do a Zillow search for Duplexes and you will see how expensive those are.
