1st Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion 16th Infantry Regiment Bravo Company (Rangers) He was shipped to Vietnam after commando school in Polk, Lousiana but he said he was stationed first out side of Bien Hoa, Vietnam Outside the airforce base. (1967-1968)

Yes, though I'm not sure of specifics, sadly. My dad/his family isn't/wasn't big about talking about things that they deemed upsetting, which is understandable, even though it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. I do wish I knew more, but hopefully I will once it's my generations turn to hold onto mementos/keepsakes.

Sad, isn't it. I guess each family handles this kind of situation differently and at whatever comfort level is good for them. It's just that so much ... history can be lost. ... I wonder if you could get his military records from the gov't. that is, if they didn't get destroyed in the huge fire they had in the record-keeping building in St. Louis several years back.

Problem is it is a media buzzword for extremist and Alex jones uses the term also for people he disagrees with, and no one even knows what it is. There is no group out there that calls itself the "alt-right" and if there was they are so small that I doubt any of them work for mturk..
