It went fine for everyone else as far as I know.

I did everything they asked and got paid less than half of what they said base pay was.

I can't share his response; I think? But I received the daily login bonus, and NO other bonus besides that because my bonus was determined SOLELY by another worker... That other worker didn't log in. Hence, no bonus for me. lol

I'm not allowed to discuss what he just replied back to me, since that's apparently the basis of the study.... But, I earned $24... Which spending an hour a day is ~$2/hr.

Apparently, according to the response... It didn't matter how diligently I worked on the task... My bonus didn't depend on me and yet they were unable to provide that information before the study. I'm going to contact the IRB and bitch.... but I am avoiding them at all costs going forward. Good thing I quit smoking!

i don't remember there being any guaranteed hourly rate. i don't know why anyone would have spent that much time on it - if you say you did 1 hour a day for 12 days then even the max bonus of $44 would have been $3.67/hour

Valid point; I guess I'm just a bit perturbed at the fact my bonus had nothing to do with my effort... It is what it is. I'm just going to leave my review, send a message to the IRB and tuck my tail between my legs. There's more money to be made elsewhere

that seems to be the point of the whole study - it was based off of not just your participation/effort but that of the other participants as well.
