There's some really ancient stuff in that document but it all comes to play in every current network environment at some point or another. I still have some of the tools from when I was IT for the school I taught at 20 years ago. I'll be glad to take questions from time to time for sure. I spent 7 years with Verizon as a DSL and FiOS support rep and lead trainer. Most networking stuff is like riding a bicycle.. I don't use it much anymore but it's certainly hard to forget it after training nothing but basic networking every 3 weeks for 4 years.
What's getting me is understanding the CIDR and subnetting stuff. Goes straight over my head
I'm trying to get the network+ cert and there's a big focus on the two listed above. I'm just not sure if there's some better way to memorize it. From what I can tell, there will be a simulation or two consisting on subnetting a network
