oh! I figured it out.

Right now you sound like my FIL when he says anyone on food stamps is a lazy bum and should just get off their ass and go work and stop sucking up his tax money on their drugs and lobsters.

Usually while I"m in line paying for food with his son's food stamp card. (It's mostly because he's dumb and doesn't know how food stamps actually work)

This is because of being logged into worker and www on the same browser/profile. Not all submissions seem to be affected by it. Whatever the root cause of the issue is, mturk seems like they have no intention of fixing it.

There's a whole myriad of reasons that kinda of study can have messed up data. Those 1 in 4 could be stuck at home taking care of a parent who cannot take care of themselves. They themselves may be disabled. And a whole host of other things. shouldnt judge if you dont know the whole story.
