If it helps, I'm not sure what I said either. Pretty sure I was trying to convey that going through the experiences that make you eligible for the Joe study make a little more sense when you can get paid for them and assist with research that helps others. (With a vague reference to my inner turmoil over not feeling like I've done enough in my life yet to help others going through those things at present.)

This probably didn't make sense either. It's all good, kind of in a place today where I accept that I and my borked brain make no sense. All I can do is try, and then make attempts at clarification. In the meantime..
