This happens on both sides of the coin. I have trusted TO and been screwed because either the requester turned darkside, had provided a self review, or someone just gave a wonky review (20 minutes for .15 5 out of 5 for pay), etc.
It's always to your benefit to take everything with a grain of salt and use your critical thinking skills :thumbup: 'Good' TO doesn't necessarily mean good hits either. Hopefully with the new TO in beta pay ratings will begin to be standardized, though.

If there is no review for the exact hit I'm doing then I ignore the TO. Unless the requester is notorious for bad hits or it's clear they pay bad. A few too many times I've seen requesters get TO bombed for that 1 bad hit but most of their stuff is actually alright. Doesn't always pay off though I will admit.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. When my mTurk Spidey senses start tingling about a particular requester, then I definitely listen to TO, or I come here and see what you folks have to say about the task.
