I don't buy it often either, but I was intrigued by the tangerine IPA. Tangerine's hella underrated. I see you also love an IPA. I've never had that, but I dig the graphics of that can, man.
I kept thinking the IPA trend was going down but it keeps going up. there are breweries that basically have 90% ipas and then a lager and hef and 100% of their ipas are fuckin terrible.

My two favorite ones are probably blind pig and racer 5

all ive been drinking recently are amber ales

When I went back to see family in Asheville, I was surprised to see that Black IPAs had taken off, which was awesome. They are a completely different taste profile. But yea, I agree, it's hard to find places with porters and stouts anymore.

I've been to bear republic too, and they have a nice thing going.

I wish I could enjoy beer, but I can't without it making me gag, unless it's a stout (which few bartenders know how to properly pour.) So it's either various ciders or straight to vodka for me.

I've never been a big fan of beer, either. But I kinda had to learn to start liking it if I wanted to continue to drink because hard liquor and wine just turn me into a complete mess, these days. Ciders are often too sweet for me.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of IPAs. When I was in Denver, I couldn't get a Shiner. So I drank this instead,

I grew up outside of Raleigh, but my rents live outside of Asheville. I'm trying to convince the BF that Western North Carolina wouldn't be so bad to move to later on. Cheaper than out here (Pacific NW).

I also love Asheville! It's become such a cool town.

I just shattered a glass in the kitchen and now I'm scared to go in there. I know I'll step on the single shard I somehow missed.
