I'm pretty sure that the requirements for masters are 20k+ approved and >~99.95% approval rate. I have 157k approved, 207 rejections (mass reject from a while back), and 99.87% approval rate and didn't get it.

People have gotten it with a lot less HITs, and not obtained it with much better stats...

I am so thrilled by the list of people I see who got Masters I'm not even salty I didn't! Sooooooooo many people who have done a lot of good work for mturk were finally rewarded! I started to type a list of @'s for the ones who especially made me smile then didn't want to leave anyone out. I definately have my top 5 list of people who got masters.
