05/24 - Whippet Wednesday!

I have 15 years of cooking experience. Have been kitchen manger at outback (5yrs) applebees (2.5yrs) head chef, executive chef at two different non chain places. I was a professional painter, have worked as a carpenters helper (3yrs). I can do many things and if I wanted a "real" job I could find one in a week. The freedom of being able to work when I want without having to answer to anoyone is why I do this. Also the reason I enjoy being single. Life gets hectic, lonely, broke at times... any day I do what I want though. I answer to no one. I like that. Hope to invest or hone my online skills in another way to move past this platform in the future but the freedom of online work really fits me well.

Until I can't sustain paying my bills by doing this any longer. As a dude living in a studio apartment I can comfortably pay my bills turking and have a decent amount left over for the month. Although, I started with a nestegg of 10k already in the bank so I haven't reached my "disaster scenario" where turking isn't feasable. I'll stick it out with you for the long haul Peachy

One of the saddest days in my life was the day I had to leave Vancouver for Tennessee. I just couldnt afford to live there anymore.

Yeah, but it's just getting worse. The traffic is so insanely disgusting. I only hear English like once a week lately. Got some obnoxious (maybe Bulgarian) neighbors.

Yep. Gonna move sometime by 2020. Been getting stuff as ready as I can to move. Problem is, no clue where to go. Maybe Idaho? Maybe the west coast? Maybe Kansas?

Cool! I'm moving down to around the south Portland area in a few months. I love it around there. But yes, super expensive. Luckily we are renting from family so we won't be too strapped on that account. Idaho would be cool. I don't know, what kind of scenery do you like? I'm fond of Montana, myself. Secluded, mountains, lots of land.

Lol. Do you live off 117th? I was surrounded by crazy Russian neighbors.It was impossible for me to cross the bridge on a weekday without leaving 2 hrs early. But man do I miss it. Hope I can get back in 5 years or less with a marketable job skill.
