I'm excited. The traffic thing sucks but I'm stoked to explore Portland. Too bad we will probably be too poor and busy to really do a lot. I moved out from Denver, though, and it's kind of the same vibe. I dig it.

i'm not sure about oregon city, but portland traffic is not that bad. at least it wasn't when i worked there in 2012. just don't take i-84 during rush hour basically.

Like any major city, probably. Oregon City kind of sucks because it's on the east side of the river, so there are only so many ways you can take to cross it. Portland has blown up the past couple of years, so traffic pretty much sucks at all hours, now. Small price to pay.
