This requester keeps sending me emails asking me to provide him with my mturk ID so that he can send me part two of his survey. He says he has my IP and response ID but not my worker ID. I thought that worker IDs are normally provided to requesters?

Yeah it was for a hit I did least week. It was supposed to br a 4 survey task so he probably messed up. I'm just curious what he'd be able to use my ID for if I were to give it to him. Don't think I've ever had this happen before.

are we supposed to transcribe a row if it has a line through the whole row? or leave a blank spot where that row is?

That's what threw me off. I know someone on here loves these. @Kerek ?

I left a blank row when skipping the ones with lines through them. It seemed more consistent, and helped keep the transcription organized.

They are included with every submission so if you submitted a HIT to him in the past, he has your worker ID.

Did you give him your email address to contact you? Or is he sending the message through MTurk?

If you did a HIT for him AND he's sending the messages to you through MTurk, he's most definitely got your worker ID.

Tinfoil hat on for a moment: if you reply with your worker ID, he'd then have your worker ID, your email address, and whatever name you have on your email account which makes you less anonymous than if he just had your worker ID.
