I mean, it didn't really change between searches other than changing the last word.

If you did a HIT for him AND he's sending the messages to you through MTurk, he's most definitely got your worker ID.

Tinfoil hat on for a moment: if you reply with your worker ID, he'd then have your worker ID, your email address, and whatever name you have on your email account which makes you less anonymous than if he just had your worker ID.

Every requester you send a message to via the contact requester link also has all of that.

Yup. So I don't see any reason to reply, since the requester clearly has their worker ID already. Maybe the requester is just really clueless and thinks the worker ID is something else.
