My application was just approved to adopt a cat! Then they asked if I would adopt his brother too if they waived the second adoption fee. How could I say no? These two handsome men will be coming home to their forever home tomorrow!!

They're gorgeous. It's great they're going to have a wonderful new family.

The top guy is Will and the bottom is Binx. Not sure how I feel about the name Will for a cat though so he might get a change.

Isn't that the kids name in Hocus Pocus? The cat was for sure Binx . I think that's a perfect combo. The kid who gets turned into the cat was will, right?

That's right - the black cat was Binx! I'm ashamed to admit that I cannot recall his first name. The kids are going to be thrilled - and very surprised!!

Just got a notice from UPS I have a package arriving Thursday. I panicked thinking I had ordered something I forgot about.

The realized it's from my brother, and my birthday is Friday, and even though I'm going to be REALLY OLD Friday, I'm stupid-exciting he is shipping me what I asked him to get me for my birthday.

Just got a notice from UPS I have a package arriving Thursday. I panicked thinking I had ordered something I forgot about.

Waterproof blue tooth headphones. The good ones. Not the cruddy ones. I told him to share the cost with our mom. He's way richer than me with no kids so he can afford it, but I can't afford to reciprocate so I always suggest he share the cost so I can get away with that

Niiice! Is the sound as good as the waterproofing? (I only swim outdoors so know nothing about waterproofing headphones)

The ones I want have good reviews from swimmers. I have a (n above ground so not special) pool and I am addicted to publicly inappropriate podcasts. I love to listen to them while I swim. I hope they will block out all sounds of water while I swim, while allowing for good spoken audio.

I'll report back Friday if I get them. I take my birthday off every year, and I plan to spend it IN MY POOL while my kid waits on me hand and foot.

I will! Though, I just suggested to the kid he buy us tickets to see Wonder Woman on Friday as my birthday gift. So I may spend only part of my day in the pool. I mean, if he's willing to fork out the cash for the luxury theater with reclining seats and that serves alcohol, I might do that for a few hours, then come home and swim (watch the movie for a few hours, not drink...he's not old enough to drive Drunk Mommy home yet...)
