I couldn't believe how long it took me to train my dog to use her new doggy door yesterday.
I thought it was like doggy instinct to use a doggy door, but it is not.

Finally she can do it. Thank goodness.

When I got vertical blinds in my apt in Houston years ago, my kitty didn't know how to get out on the patio. So I calmly walked thru the blinds while she watched and that was all it took.

This cracked me up, because I imagined an alternate universe you that went whackily through the blinds, waving their arms and screeching so loud that kitty just ran away from home using the front door. (And yes, she had a little gingham knapsack on a stick in this imagining.)
