Okay, if we follow your line of thinking, I wonder why teachers, who have a professional license and quite a bit of training, (even worse than barbers, in some cases) are so badly paid. I think the "woman's work" is worthless explanation fits here. I wish I had a good solution.

Depends where the teacher works. Also, it depends on supply and demand. If enough teachers are willing to accept lower pay, then they will not get a pay raise.

There are literally kids out of high school who put themselves 100,000 dollars in debt for a liberal arts degree, women studies degree, journalism, ect. I'm pretty sure you can carry debt for a little while to learn a skill that will pay it back.

Yep,getting a student loan is easy. They give them out like candy,now getting a loan for a house or small business is quite the opposite. Those are hard to get.
