Teachers... one of the few careers paths where you can make 40k+ a year and essentially get two months off for summer + paid holidays and vacations and still whine about not making enough money.

This so much. I think the national average wage is around 26k-27k so they are making almost twice the average person in united states and like you said get vacation and benefits.

I'm pretty sure you don't get unemployment when you are emplyed. They would not be eligible for unemployment over the summers since they are in fact employed.
