Hi,

We’re not officially using either qual yet. (If you recently noticed you were missing a qual, it was a location-based one, since we were looking for speakers of UK English.)

We might start using gold club in the future, if/when we start running daily batches of HITs that we want our most experienced workers to complete. When/if we do that, we’ll periodically assign the qual to all workers who have completed over 30 HITs for us with no rejections. We’ll also continue to run un-qual-ed tasks as we need them, so more workers can gain experience.

Trusted Worker is the one-time qual we used when we had a lot of new workers doing bad work, yes.

Gold Club (not intentionally named after a strip club!) is something we *might* use in the future. It's possible we will be posting batches of HITs on a regular schedule, which will be a mix of topics to paraphrase, and they will be run semi-automatically, so I won't be checking the work or writing instructions specific to the task. We'll want to use fairly experienced workers for this, so at the moment, it's assigned to anyone who has done more than 30 HITs for us (or had at the time I created the qual, a few weeks ago) with no rejections. If/when we start using this, we'll update it periodically so that once you get to 30 HITs from our regular tasks, you'll have the qual. But this is all a future, hypothetical thing so far. I'm hoping it'll happen though.

I don't think I understand the instructions for the "[Restaurant] Ask Automatic bot to make restaurant reservations in US" HITs. Is it always this slow and do I have to wait to get 3 bad responses to submit it?
