He just got back to me and this is what he had to say,

"Hi Sara,

I apologize. Unfortunately, a vast majority of the over 9,000 hits were incorrectly answered. People responded with either "vaguely" similar products or random search urls. As such, we were forced to reject the hits.

However, we've increased the reward from $0.05 to $0.10 to compensate those of you who were unfairly punished. We readded our batch of hits. For every one you do, you'll be compensated for one from the previous batch.

Otherwise, we could send bonuses to all of you who claim to have been correct? What's the best way to do this at scale?

Sincerely,
Will"

What would be your preferred way of handling this? I don't want to speak for everyone until I get some input - especially because I only had one rejection in comparison to a lot of people. electrolyte @electrolyte Any ideas or tips?
Maybe don't mass reject in the first place? Luckily I didn't do any of his HITs, I've only had 13 rejections ever (I started Turking in 2014), and I can tell you right now I won't be doing any of his in the future because of that.

I'm done, just spent like 30 minutes doing a hit for $1, didn't get a bonus, and it's not showing up on my dashboard. Time to wallow in M n M's (the candy) and watch Supernatural.

Sounds like complete BS. If the VAST MAJORITY of HITs were submitted wrong, maybe it's HIM that's the problem, or the directions are not clear enough, or he needs to be better at specifying exactly what he wants. Rejections aren't even just about the money, it's about the time spent as well as the effect it has on the approval rating.

My dude got a shitload of work done for free, that's pretty much it.

I don't really care at this point, they sound pretty unfair and greedy, as I'm sure I found the exact products that matched the ones I was told to look for. It all just sounds like a lazy requester.
Even worst he dropped a dragon ball z meme in that email somehow.

It seems much easier to me.
I've reached the point of the day where my brain is fried, so all of the info is overloading it. I just grabbed my handy dandy notebook for notes and such though of tips I remember from last time, so here's hoping it gets easier...

Oh, I see.

This one appears to be harder than Round 1. I won't give away content but it looks like he's asking us to do more. He probably should pay something in the future for people's time.
There's more "work" inside the hit, but the information was easier for me to find than the first one. I do think he should pay at least something for these qual tests, they were pretty time consuming.

If he's willing to pay for the mistakes, why can't he just revere the rejections? That'll get you paid for the previous HITs.

Oh, well then, start them off young. I love it when the little girls like 2 and 3 come through my line at Walmart. They are so cute, they make me smile. They always smile and say hi, well not always, but sometimes.
My daughter would make you smile. She is great at stores. She loves to pay for whatever we buy herself. Sometimes i will give her a dollar or two so she can buy a lollypop just so she can pay and do it all herself. She asks for stickers at walmart and publix. LOL
