No, you were here.Better than flippin' burgers. ompus:
Dammit, I missed one of the epic rarity batches?
Best was when they did just books for several days in a row.
Oh right, that was the other thing.Where's those hard drives?

The show is more fake then pro wrestling though. They built an entire replica of the pawn shop floor in the back of the building where they shoot everything now. trust nothing in this world.Cute
[NERD ALERT]
I have mixed feelings about the show, yet I did read Rick's autobiography on Kindle a few years back. It was a good read, which surprised me. He's a smart cookie, that Rick. One reason he knows so much - he was stuck in bed for years, with epilepsy. Sometimes with ice packs all over his body, to fight the pain. He read a lot during this time, to cope, studied history, started forming his pawn business while suffering.
When people take pain and turn it into something productive like that, gives me a level of respect for them.
Now, the gender, race, and political issues with Pawn Stars aside... they're entertaining. And they teach you about history, context, many things. One reason Antiques Roadshow is so fascinating....
Well, if your expectation is spontaneous authentic deals, then yes, I can see your disappointment. I adjust my expectations with them, knowing they're fake and staged on many levels, and they make me laugh. Worth it, for me.The show is more fake then pro wrestling though. They built an entire replica of the pawn shop floor in the back of the building where they shoot everything now. trust nothing in this world.

More like not enough.Ah, when people take a dance opportunity, & perv it the hell up (that guy in the middle is working those hips a little much....)
